We're not normally people who book package tours. Carnival cruises sounds like a week in a floating hotel; and Club Med just makes my skin crawl. Package tours of Europe sounds too much like seeing nothing I want to see at someone else's pace

Canada is my next overseas destination!

That's the problem with Canada. The place is vast and there's so much to see no one really knows where to start!

heh... then you get my problem with Australia

4 trips and I've only scratched the surface. James and I have promised ourselves one day to take a year and two dogs and buy a Toyota troop carrier thingy and do the WHOLE country - I'll write a photo book about it. When we're done we'll sell the troop carrier and come back home :)

I like parks for which I don't need a guide, like the Whiteshell or the simple parks near my home state.
