Sometimes my transition back to the free world seems so complete as to be seamless, and then I am reminded of my misdeeds by what stings like a slap in the face. Those were good times. I'm sure the shady bench legacy still lives on without us. It's totally like Saved by the Bell: The New Class over there. It will never be the same. :D

Yeah I actually drove past MCC the other day and saw that the bar we used to hang out at after school has since been turned into something else, which is a shame because that bar had good fish and chips. It also had those little trivia decks.

Wow I'm getting this pretty late. Heh! What was it, Gallagher's? The fish and chips were excellent. I think I saw another of their establishments a couple weeks ago-- can't remember where-- and I thought about you and the old crew. I hope everything is going well for you and yours.

I definitely understand how you feel. The only advice I can offer is to consider your being considerate of their desired distance as your nonverbal amends. :/ I know it's not a great bit of advice, but it works for me, even if it still hurts for a while.
