So since my last post to the purge about how I never cook, I've made two pots of oatmeal (sort of from scratch, the Irish steel-cut oats kind that takes an hour to cook) and two omeletts. Disclaimer: this entry is pretty much disgusting.

It's appalling and shameful that I can quite literally peel the callouses off of my feet.

And yet I wish I had the time and tools to peel both of them completely.

Like, seriously. There's completely formed new skin about two layers down.

It's a lovely day today in New Jersey, not too hot, not too humid, just right. And my papa is here. We had Mehek lunch buffet, then went to the library to return the two copies of the sixth Harry Potter book I had checked out, and check out some cds.
