The London benefit production of The 24 Hour Plays at 7:30pm on Sunday, October 8 at The Old Vic.

Damn you Kevin Spacey and your stupid Old Vic prices! (And your whole 'cast myself in EVERY SINGLE PLAY BECAUSE IT IS MYYYY THEATRE, BITCHES' thing, that is also rather annoying.) I mean, yeah, it's charity, obviously, but at least you should be able to get rubbish restricted view seats for £50. Like you get the lowest, fewest-perks tickets for £50 at charity premieres. It is only fair, dammit. Poor student-types want to squee excitedly give to charity too, y'know. When I checked, the prices were in the hundreds. Woe.

The celeb 24 Hour Plays in NY cost $300!! o.O

You could consider volunteering on the day and getting in for free. You give up your day but it saves you money and couldbe a great experience. I did it last year and it was my favourite day of the whole year.

£160/$300 is the lowest price there?! £75/$140 is the lowest here.. You know your theatre obsession's getting out of control when a teeny voice in your head says, 'Ooh, well it's still in double figuress, that's doable..' NO, Tiny Voice. QUIET.

Top price here's £600/$1,1250. Gaaah.

I'm nursing my ailing mother, so I can't volunteer on Sunday, although I would if I could.

Can I just say - I want Colin Salmon. Very, very badly. (and christ, he's got to be 6'6", minimum, if Tommy only comes to his shoulder. Why do I so often manage to have a crush on men who are a foot and a half taller than I?)
