Which of David Bowie's 100 favourite books have you read?

As seems somehow appropriate, there are several different lists in circulating, each claiming to be the authentic tally of David Bowie's 100 favourite books. I'm using the one from www.davidbowie.com which seems most likely to be canonical. (One of the others has only 75 books on the list.) How many have you read? I've ticked the Beano on the grounds that I was a regular subscriber at the appropriate age (about 8-10, I'd guess). I wouldn't claim to have read all of it, and I'm sure that isn't what he meant anyway. By contrast, I didn't tick Private Eye, as I've read the odd random issue, but not very many and never regularly.

Same decision made here re the Beano - I read it from the 70s to the 90s. Come to think of it I have also read quite a few of the 50s and 60s annuals, though not as many as my ex-boss, who used our best staff perk at the Bodleian (delivery of books from stacks to desks) to work his way through all the annuals he could get (Beano, Dandy, etc).

That's some dedicated Beano-reading, there, from both you and your ex-boss! You put me in the shade. ;-)

To be fair, by the 90s I was nicking my youngest brother's copy, rather than buying it myself. :)

The annual-reading was admired by many of his colleagues; I took to nabbing the odd copy to read at lunchtime before it had to go back to storage, though because of my own reading I occasionally missed one. I also usually ordered a copy of Ruff's Guide To The Turf to my office, along with my MA texts, to the amusement of the proper librarians. Worked my way through most of the editions they held, I think.

I've read a few. Some of the books are by authors whose other books I have read but not the one Bowie chose.

None, but the thing that interests me is how many of those would have been on my father's list (and a couple of my mother's), which makes some sort of sense since Bowie's age was between the two but ... slightly odd feeling nonetheless.
