You have to help me get to DragonCon this year. because everytime you post about it, I say "I want to go to that." and then I get myself all confused about the best way to go about making that happen for myself.
I meant as far as buying tickets and stuff. Rumor has it that it's like already impossible to get a good hotel in Atlanta that weekend, so I'm wondering if I should just find some shady hotel to stay in a little farther away from the action, or what I should do. I guess everyone probably makes a lot of bad planning decisions the first year they go and then they learn...but at the same time, I wish there was like a DragonCon for Dummies.
Well, there is! It's called dragoncon. Basically, if you patrol around there, you can find any question you might ask has been asked and answered already, by a panel of experienced DCers. If not, make a post that says you're trying to go for the first time ever, and what would be the best way to _____?
Ticket prices just went up as of last week, they're now $80. Plenty of people get non-sponsored hotels, but I don't, so I can't recommend. I'm already made enough that I have the one sponsored hotel that's a WHOLE BLOCK AWAY. hahah
