That is impressive! I have only used up maybe 25% of my stash. It was much larger than I had realized.

What did you make with all of that yarn?

Thanks. I was a bit surprised when I made the list. I hadn't been keeping track on the numbers.

To be honest, some of this I bought after going on my stashbusting mission. I decided not to go on a diet, since I knew right off that wouldn't work. Much of the yarn pictured at the beginning was given away; three boxes to a friend for charity, three more boxes for friends who were interested in learning to knit, and a few other random 'yarn giveaways' through the year. I also gave a few skeins to my mother, who crochets.

I did, however, manage to make up quite a few items with the yarn. Feel free to check out my knitting blog (http://daily-fiber.livejournal.com) to see some of what has been made with it. What certainly helped was being a member of the "3000in2007" group, which has been collecting items for charity.

I only wish I'd made as much progress clearing out some of my stash. I did a fair bit, but not nearly as much as I was hoping. Most of what I did involved trying to figure out what to do with a lot of the yarn I'd bought in grab bags, and most of the time I had no use for the stuff until I started knitting a wacky log cabin blanket. (Which may or may not ever be finished at the rate I'm going, let me tell you!)
