TRUTH.

The last time I watched this flawless film I was not as into slash as I am now. Seriously, second tent pron scene, TEARS IN MY EYES. SERIOUSLY.

I love it so much, the movie, the second tent scene, how Jack was trying to impress Ennis the second he saw him, ALL of it. And that full-bodied, up against the house kiss when Jack came to visit? Favorite scene, negl. Definitely in my Top 5 go-to movies when I need a good cry.

I think that scene is perfect beyond words. It defines lust and love and need and want. It is perfect, flawlessly perfect.

Dude, I don't even know what the unpopular opinions in fandom are.

Lemme get back to you after I watch the whole movie again. Remember that one time I accidentally quoted it in fic? That's how long it's been since I've seen this film. <3

Opinion number one, don't know if it's unpopular, but like JESUS, this whole deal is Jack's fault. I forgot how ready he was to start this whole things. No way Ennis would have gone down that road without him. D:

Heh heh...

Jack should have dumped Ennis and found a new man...

BBM is in my top five films of all time. Flawless and moving. I wept for days after my first viewing.

Have you read the original short story? It's so strong and such an intense piece of writing. I think you would swoon over it - impact, skill, stylization. Very gifted bit of writing.
