Hope I'm doing this correctly. I don't use LJ much, and it's been a bit of a learning curve today to figure out how to donate. If I've screwed up how I'm posting, will somebody let me know so I can fix it

I think you probably meant to post this to some community rather than your own journal. You'll need to copy the content of this post and post it again to the community.

If you're posting through the LJ web page, there's a "Post to:" drop-down right next to your userpic at the top of the page; pick the community (you must be a member with posting privileges) from that list. If you're using some client to post I'm afraid I can't tell you how to do it.

To insert photos, you need to include the address of the photo itself rather than the address of the photo's Flickr page. In the upper right of the Flickr page is a little gizmo that says "Share this." Click on that and select "Grab the link," then copy the text in that box and use that as the photo address when inserting the photo into your blog post.

debsliverlovers. The info page should have a button for joining. If you decide to watch as well as join, you'll see all the other auctions show up on your friends list.

To do that:

1. Go to the community profile here: http://community.livejournal.com/debsliverlovers/profile

2. Click the Join link.

3. Click the "Join Community" button.

4. Click the "Add" button.

5. Now come back to this entry and copy the contents of your post.

6. Open a new post and paste the contents into it. You'll have to re-add the subject header.

7. Up under "Post an Entry", you'll see "Post As", followed by "Post To". Click on the drop-down menu next to "Post To" and select "debsliverlovers".

8. Now the button at the bottom of your post will say "Post to debsliverlovers". Just click and you're done! The mods will tag your post unless you feel like taking that on.
