There was a lot of Karen in the confidential this week (yep I didn't watch the football) and there was a lot more Amy this week than I expected. It was a nice surprise given we have had 6 episodes with River or Rory about. I've been really liking the good old Doctor/companion format of the past two/first three episodes. It gives me a chance to get attached to Amy.

I agree with the Doctor being more alien, I really love that it's shown as both good and bad this year. Yes he puts people in danger but with Ten I thought the alien = angst angle they had the last few years was a bit depressing. Nine was far from happy after the Time War but he was still joyful about things and I've missed that.

After that Confidential I'm slightly afraid of going to Greenwich park in case The World's Most Hyperactive AstronomerTM jumps out from behind a hedge and starts enthusing at me.
