So, on the 10th of July, after discussion and a biophysical profile and sonogram, my midwife and I decided to try to naturally induce my 42 week baby to come.
Congratulations on all of it (other than the blood clots which are scary and bad)! Congrats on your charming and handsome baby boy! congratulations on getting the labor you wanted! Congratulations on having a wonderful hub who stayed with you and reminded you of what you needed! Congrats on your first anniversary! All in all sounds wonderful. How is the little one? How are you doing mama? How is midnightstation? *hugs love thoughts* sent to you all.
I'm doing really well! I lost a lot of blood, but my numbers were great, and I never felt dizzy or anything. My post partum bleeding is totally normaal and everything :) I am under orders to eat a lot of iron which I am doing by eating paté which makes me ridiculously happy.
Seriously, people can't believe the post partum thing when they see me and talk to me :)
Even with the placenta stuff, I feel incredibly good, and the fact that my perinium did not tear is probably helping IMMENSELY!
Oh my! Look at that BEAUTIFUL baby! Welcome to the world little Jaeger! What a beautiful family you all are.
I too had to transfer to the hospital after my second birth in order to have my placenta yanked out. Not fun but I was thankful throughout that I was able to have the gentle birth that I had hoped for for my daughter. I'm glad that your Jaeger was able to have the same and I wish you a speedy recovery.
Oh wow! Yeah - I was at the hospital feeling greatful for both the care - and the fact that I had the birth experience I really wanted. Those hours at home before transfer made a HUGE difference for us and I am so very greatful for them!

This is an amazing story. Thank you for sharing it. Makes me less scared for when I do it myself.
