This just got sadder and sadder and omg my smile has turned completely upside down by the end of this story (not that I wasn't imagining it to be sad by how the fic was started--Massu alone and staring longingly at a lighthouse that's no longer a lighthouse ( ... )

asdcl;sajk thank you so much for leaving such a beautiful comment. It seriously made my day, especially what you said about the mindsets because we were particularly anxious over that. It's wonderful that someone found it real.

That was the first fic that made me cry. Not almost, but really. I was wiping tears while reading the last few sentences, and after that my vision was oh so blurry that I couldn't do anything, just recollecting how kind was their before-war childhood and how it slowly turned into something that leaves only bitterness with a little shade of something sweet and warm.

Few hours passed, and now I'm finally able to type a comment, but hell, my eyes still hurt and I think they wanna spill more tears.

And I'll let them do that, because this beautiful story deserves it. Because I'll never forget it.

I don't know how people can use words in such a way. How is it possible to select only the right ones, the strongest ones, the most beautiful ones, the most real ones? Right ones that make readers feel all that heroes felt, adding amazing background - sea, shore, lighthouse, stone-grey sky, old boats...

Author, you took my heart.

This comment is epic. Thank you so much, a thousand times over, for being so sweet and telling us what you liked about the whole thing. I'm so happy to know that the fic touched you even in the littlest way.

Thank you again from both trivialaffair and I, I think it's safe to say that this comment made our year :DD <3
