The second Hank read that Olivia's door was open, she cursed to herself and shut her laptop part way, clambering to her feet. "Dad! I'll be in Liv's room!" she called out through the open door

Completely used to the Hank tirades, Olivia merely sighed and set her sheet music aside. "I have too," she insisted, shifting to sit down on the bed rather than be stretched out was she was previously. "I've smiled, I've teased, I've done the shoulder brush...I even tried Bee's trick. You know, that thing she does where she..." Olivia tipped her head a little and half-smiled, lowered her gaze and lifted it again in a sweet sort of 'come hither' stare. "And nothing," she continued with a huff. "I read 'He's Just Not That Into You,' I know how to take a hint. Now bring your books over here, what are you studying? Revolutionary, Civil War, Depression era, gold rush, what?"
Hank snorted, moving over to plop down on the bed next to her. "Fuck that shit...this is way better than my fucking homework." she replied bluntly. "Dude, have you seriously considered giving the jeans a rest for a while and putting on a motherfucking *skirt?* And a top that shows a little more cleavage. His tongue will be hanging out of his mouth, and know something? When he starts looking, he'll start really *noticing.*"
Sighing, Hank flopped back onto the bed with a roll of her eyses. "Seriously...you're supposed to be smart, right?"
"I do wear skirts," Olivia protested, rolling her eyes and standing to grab Hank's school things before flopping back down on the bed. She dug out her black-framed glasses and put them, then flipped through the history book. "More than you do. And I am smart, smart enough to know when to drop a subject. Hint, hint. All right, what chapter are you on?"
"Hello, have you met me? I never take a hint." Hank snorted, sitting up on her elbows. "If those are skirts, I'm Mother-fucking-Theresa. You wear freakin' koolats, bitch. You need to hike it up to borderline slutty...borderline, not full on. But I will *never* have legs like yours, and as long as you got 'em? You need to show 'em off."
She paused, rising to take her book from Olivia and toss it aside. "Dude. I will get Almost-Mom in on this if I gotta."
