Did you actually see the guy who got her pregnant? He made a brief appearance in an issue of Robin (Steph kicked his ass).

He's some stonerish white guy with dreads. If her standards are so low that she'll sleep with him, I find it hard to believe he's the only guy she's had sex with.

I remember that, at CBR! I actually had a big long response typed out before I realized "oh, fuck it, the guy's a moron" and exited the page. It's just like ... what-the-fuck-ever, man.

On the upside, Cass won 50% of the votes in the poll for "who should be Batgirl".

Yeah, I only posted about it because it was the first time I've ever seen Steph being berated for getting pregnant, and I wanted to make my position on slut shaming clear (as if people couldn't have already guessed)

Yes! It was in the forums. Cass got 50% of votes, Babs 35%, Steph 15%, Beryl 2.5% and Other 2.5% (Charlie got no votes).

Yeah, I don't think Dean was her first either, and I think she had a casual attitude toward it myself. And Dean was clearly a casual, god-I-feel-bad-I-wanna-feel-good-hey-you-wanna-do-it? type of guy. (Though at least she valued his life, which is more than I can say for him about hers, judging from the Huntress/Spoiler thing)

Batman is way "sluttier" than Steph in every single way. Not only does he sleep with mountains of girls as "Bruce Wayne", he definitely is not committed to them at all, and some of them are decidedly not very nice people of good character. Sure, it's to keep up the act, but that doesn't make it any less real than Steph's fling with Dean.

Not to mention his thing for villianesses...

But hey, he's a rich white male, so that's okay, amirite? *rolls eyes*

trying to stay faithful to a no-sex guy like Tim has probably had a compressed spring effect on her. She no doubt goes off every so often. A dirty weekend here and there.

I love how that's like a totally inverted version of how most S_Ders would explain their not having had sex: Tim was totally hooking up with Kon on the weekends when off with Young Justice/Teen Titans. You know, just a dirty weekend here and there. XD

Yeah, when the arguer admitted Tim was a constant virgin, I kind of wanted to burst in there and be like "'S BECAUSE HE'S GAY!" Who's to bet the guy wasn't homophobic too, and wouldn't it be fun to watch him froth at THAT statement!
