The lizard Asterix still didn't seem to eat much over the weekend. I hope he will have a cricket today... The crickets, on the other hand, prosper. I moved them into another box to clean the one they were in, as they make a terrible mess, and took two crickets in a separate box to be the lizard's meal. I fed them, and one of them started laying

Didn't you say you isolated the only adult male?!

I really hope Asterix eats something today.

I said I took it out of the terrarium. But I did have to but him back somewhere, so back with the other crickets he went since Asterix didn't want to eat him.

I also bought Asterix three meal worms. Maybe he will feel like eating them, although they aren't as healthy food as the crickets.

Meal worms sound like a good idea. I hope Asterix eats them, though and you don't end up with a bug farm as well as a cricket farm.

I think the worms got eaten... or else they escaped the foodbowl, and I'll end up with beetles. The little cricket I gave him is still there, though. And it's not like that cricket is particularly smart or anything, it doesn't even understand how to hide.
