I have found I am unable to ignore the Titanic for 1912 and that I am drawn to the grainy photographs of the iceberg that sunk the unsinkable.

Also, the proportions of the 1912 longline corsets remind of the proportions of iceberg above and below water.

Taking the plunge

I joined Foundations Revealed earlier this year and it's the best investment I've made in learning to make corsets. They run an annual competition and so after much procrastination I have decided to go for it.

I can pick between the year 1812 and 1912 for my inspiration and on gut feel I have gone for 1912.
