It was really weird that they introduced her as this strong fighter, then added her high age and that she was actually an authority member and then killed her off. Like... why even make her more than a bureaucrat, if it's going nowhere?

I was so happy until the last two minutes. They gave us Steve, Russell, and Renee! In exchange, BRING OUT YOUR GAY DEAD PLUS DEBBIE.
I mean, I shouldn't be surprised that a character named Jesus died, but he really grew on me. He had this adorable childlike innocence and was a good foil for Lafayette.
I have a love-hate relationship with Terra, mostly due to Season 2 plus whining in Season 1, but she got her groove back and was quickly riding up to be one of my favourites again. God fucking damn.

Okay, here's my other problem with the Nan storyline: They could have just let her escape, if they don't have a storyline for her right now. Or they could have ended that scene when she propoeses joining forces, because THAT would have been a cliffhanger. They killed her off last minute for pure shock factor, there was no reasoning behind it. Bill and Eric come off like junkies shooting someone over their last ounce of heroin.
I must be the only person in the fandom who doesn't know what Samhain is. People keep mentioning some witchy stuff and wrong vocabulary, but really, what are you guys expecting? She's a red-state waitress who thinks you can do an abortion by praying to higher beings!
Samhain (Sah-wen) - Celtic new year and the original Halloween. I'd take the poor pronunciation from Holly, but Marnie has been peddling new age bullshit for at least ten years. Fiona Shaw is an acting coach who should totally know better.

I don't even know what to say about the episode. I was highly intoxicated while watching the second to last episode, so my memory of that is hazy at best. And I watched the finale on a shoddy live stream... asldihkjsdasl, so frustrating. But looking on the bright side, Russell is back! And no more cringe-worthy E/S love scenes for a while! It could be worse. Sucks about Nan. I don't have a lady boner for her but she was bitchin' and I'm sad to see her go.
I thought there was. At least for those two. They just hated her, the way they just love Sookie. There's no reasoning with that, you can't bring logic into their brains... It's like explaining to a Sarah Palin supporter who makes 500 bucks a month that she's not really the ideal candidate for you - Eric and Bill haven't used their brains since the first episode, it's as simple as that.
