What? Of course you did! You missed Nan! Also Pam getting her awesome back! And a very hot scene between Jason/Jess. The episodes themselves had a lot of bullshit in them, but there was some great suspense and sometimes it was really funny. Though you could skip 3/4 if you rewatch. Subplots have never been this boring!

You're not alone. I like Sookie without them, I sometimes like/used to like Eric and Beel without her, but any combination of this threeway is just doomed.

I admit that I ship Eric/Sookie, but I don't really ship Eric/Sookie ever since Eric did a complete turnabout and Sookie still wants Bill. I'm just [...] Really??

I mean - True Blood is always going to be somewhat ridiculous, but I don't understand why Eric and Bill are willingly to die for Sookie. I thought at first maybe they have some "secret plan" that would "trick" the witch, but I guess they were literally just going to kill themselves. :| Poor Pam and Jess.

It was really stupid and not just because it was Sookie. Everyone who offs themselves on the off-chance that the girl they've been banging for a week MIGHT be safe afterwards, until the next faerie/witch/were/vamp comes along is so stupid it hurts. They both know Pam well enough to be aware that she would be the first to kill Sookie, if Eric died for her, so that's stupid right there.

sorry ranty... mirasango September 5 2011, 16:31:50 UTC
Can we have Ginger as a main character from now on?

I agree with this.

I loved reading this summary because it details a lot of what is driving me crazy lately. I used to enjoy True Blood but this season is so annoying. There are maybe 2 or 3 characters at this point I can tolerate and the only one I really love is Pam oh and Jess. Beel has annoyed me for several seasons, but Eric has gone off the rails. I am convinced he's a pod person now, pod vamp? because his whole scene with Pam last night had me going ( ... )

"Then when they launched into suicide pact crap I just totally checked out, what the hell? There is no motivation for it. So they are in love? Beel sure seems to be in love (yea right, he's thought of her all season sure..) and Eric she basically turned him away (again) last week. He needs get his BAMF self back because just ugh. He's pathetic at this point. As I said last night in a comment: what is so awesome about Sookie that she would warrant these two fools to commit suicide?"

Yes yes yes! It was the worst scene in the history of True Blood. How ridiculous. I'll hang in there in hopes of this mess being cleaned up, but I have lost respect for both Eric and Beel at this point.

The scene with Andy and the fairy in the woods? Awkward and bizarre. I don't even care what it's about, just please make it go away. *ugh*

I'm still annoyed that those Disney-faerie-trolls EXIST!

"If makers don't listen to their progenies they tend to do stupid bullshit. And/or be general assholes.
I'm not gonna names names, but *cough* BillandEric *cough*"

THIS!!!

I can't fucking believe last night's episode. I'm still sorta reeling from the stupid.

Why does Marnie lose her powers when Antonia escapes but gets them back when she is DEAD???? Unless Laffy has a lot more going on under the braids that just being a medium. I guess....

Why does Pam's hair get flatter and flatter as the episode goes along?

Jessica's does not so maybe she is wearing a gothic "Bumpit" under there...http://www.bighappiehair.com/ I am thinking black with silver studs to match the outfit....

I'm thinking the volume products lack quality. Or Pam's hair is just naturally sleek and heavy, like mine.

And I'm puzzled about the Marnie thing aswell. Maybe Laffayette's powers? Or she'll use Laffayette to threaten his own life, so Jesus will do all the magic?

Well for continuity they are SUPPOSED to make sure that they hair stays the same.....even if they have to re-do it a gazillion times while they are filming...Even if they have to stuff a "rat" in there...lol a rat :) I am picturing a long pink tail hanging off to the side....

From the preview looks like Laffayette is doing SOMETHING in some weird kind of ethic robe that has to do with fire all around him. I hope they have a really great CG budget because even wearing fire proof stuff under the robes it would have been horrible to film for real.

Haha, at least Nelsan gets to have a fun fiery scene. And I bet the fire will be CGI again ( ... )
