Creepy + Music = Music - Creepy?

Men (and I'm sure women, but either I don't see much of it or I'm oblivious to it) do and say things all the time that come off with this creepy vibe that they don't intend, especially in romantic situations. Every Breath You Take also has an extreme creepiness factor. I think someone mailed an LP of it to one of the main characters in Orson Scott Card's novel Lost Boys. It's a very direct (if outdated) stalking technique.

And it's true, a little Peter Gabriel makes everything better.

Hah, I've noticed this before.

I don't care if you really care as long as you don't go.. 'Lovefool' by the Cardigans is a good example of this.

Well, Love Fool is thoroughly co-dependent, which is a different kind of creepy, but you're right; it presents a pathetic wretch of a woman as vulnerable and downright adorable, as do many of the works of Gwen Stefani.
