Just read through this whole story, and as a person that've suffered from depression a few years now, it hit a little too close to home at times. Very well written, my lady. Good work tugging on my heartstrings and maybe snapping one or two of them. Happiness being /so/ close and then ripped away when it's /just/ beneath your fingertips is one of the most gut wrenching scenarios imaginable. Well played, madam. You broke my heart
