so i've noticed that chris gets kind of agitated when i spend time on my computer instead of being willing to fall to his every whim. i've started saying "no" to doing things that i just don't want to do and doing what i do want to do. of course, this will probably get me in trouble eventually, but how else am i going to be happy? i'm glad that he'

I can understand the roommate situation.
I used to offer my old roommate trips to the grocery store because I knew she didn't have a car. Though sometimes she would demand rides off of me like I was expected to be of service. That wasn't cool. You should ask some sort of monetary compensation back though if he keeps eating your food. I'd be pissed if someone was eating through my stuff without permission. >:O not cool...

thanks for the encouragement - i really love me new glasses, arrr. hehe.

i guess i wouldn't mind so much about the munching on my food if he did *something* around the apartment. but he never washes his own dishes, or cooks anything for anyone but himself. he just waits until the rest of us get hungry and eats whatever is there.

and he has his own car, which he never uses to buy food. or offers to give me a ride in to get food. at which point i stick out my tongue and say "lazy butt!" and try to forget that i'm annoyed. someday, though, he'll eat something and it will just be the straw that breaks the camel's back. and i'll be like - OK, you really need to pay me for all the stuff of mine that you eat. and he'll be like "oh, ok" because he is really laid back about all that and he has a goodly amount of money
