That's really lovely. The starkness of it is perfect for the character. And you should totally email Gaiman a link to the picture.

I'm actually thinking of just being total fangirl and mailing him the original ^^;

Not sure if he'd ever even get around to seeing it, much less letting me know if he likes it or not, but....

I liked Anasi Boys alright, but I thought American Gods was so much better! American Gods, in my opinion, is his best work with Stardust in a close second, followed by Neverwhere. I hate him and his brilliant imagination!

For some reason I have never been able to finish American Gods.

I get a ways into it, and then wander off, not because I don't like it, but... I just can't seem to get through it as zippy and easily as Anansi Boys, Neverwhere, and Stardust.

I need to give it another try soon, if I can find where I've put it.
