Sorry I didn't reply to you ugh days ago - I've been sick (and I NEVER get sick) for the last week or so (I don't think I've been sick longer than 3 days in almost a decade, it was uber depressing and I have new appreciation for people with allergies and low immune systems). Just looking at a computer screen was headache-y, let alone trying to login and reply to things (TMI: I have used about a forest's worth of tissues... if that is even where tissues come from).
And I missed everyone. I missed this place *hugs comm* and there's been all these little scrappets of news that I was too sick to even begin composing...but I'm like at 75% good now, so after I escape this house tomorrow (FREEDOM AND JUNK FOOD OMG) and then study up on my last, lingering, language exam (Friday, why'd it have to be Friday) - I'm going to be more myself and around and excited-ory, or whatever, IDK I need a new word.

I have... Issues with Dexter, but I'm glad you're liking it. My brother and I think S1+2 are good, S3 is not good, S4 is great, S5 is ok, S6 is not good. We're halfway through S7, but so far it seems good.
I need to find some time this weekend to go through the appreciation post and spam the hell out of people with late replies.
I'm feeling a million times better now. It really sucked last week. I hate being sick (like, everyone, ever, but still - ugh).
I have... Issues with DexterI started watching S1 and then fell out of it, and then I must have seen a post on Tumblr or something and I was all WAH his sister KNOWS and so of course I went and tracked down 6.12 and then somehow steadily made my way through S7 and then backed up, and went through all of S6 and have selected the occasional other episode from S2, S4 and S5...because mostly I love Deb (and I think I've picked up her swearing. LE SIGH. I'm so impressionable) and she doesn't find her confidence until the back end of the series, and then it's shaken all over again but the Morgans are being all honest with each other and it's brilliant so IDC. But the way S7 ended...like WTF. And all the promos and clips for S8 - I NEED IT NOW, not tomorrow

My biggest problem with Dexter was that Doakes was my favorite character. I wasn't really connected with anyone else- it took me a while to realize how much I love Angel and to appreciate Debra as a character more (the show only really promoted her once they got rid of Rita and made Jennifer the female lead
