Annnnd...I make no promises, I need to roll the idea around in my head a bit, but I will give Miles/Miles a go (although it might be AU Miles or something?) :D I will also get around to answering comments on AO3! I do appreciate them - I was just away last week and then had this gobshite of a summer cold when I came up. Bloody planes! So I'm just catching up now.
Coz it's too early for Rewatch starting (I'm thinking July sometime at the moment), and I'm open to any and all ideas for sanity maintaining. I have two pesky exams to get through this month and then I AM FREE for about 4 weeks before uni starts again. So I will be more bored than anyone has every been bored, ever before.
I always feel like it's been cancelled, and then last minute renewed when it's back...and then I get into it and all excited and then CONTINUOUSLY SURPRISED THAT THREE EPISODES CAN BE EQUAL TO A WHOLE ANYTHING.
I'm really glad I'm just a fan and not IN the fandom. They must all be quite mad by now...given the distressing way S2 ENDED.
There's three definitely dead people on there - he's just gone to Canada
IKR. No body, no proof. He's now emperor of Canada.
Anyway - THIS SOUNDS AWESOME. I haven't had time to think of what we shall do with ourselves over here as we wait and wait and wait. So other people makin' plans is fantastic!
MAGGIE...I have to do something with Maggie. I miss Maggie. I want flashbacks to post-Rachel, pre-pilot times. She had so much sass. It's a waste that she never got to meet Jeremy... or Monroe. I was so close so shipping her with Miles.

I have a slightly odd request for when we're discussing a certain character: pooling information about what we know about his/her life, timeline, and how we know what we know. As a prolific fan-ficcer, it's always helpful for me to remind myself of this kind of info (and tv show writers are notorious for contradicting themselves as they forge characters over time

Oh don't start me on the trauma of chronology that 'they are all playing their own ages' started. I resorted to just making their ages meet in the middle and dubbing them 'ish' aged.
My fanon has always been that Jeremy lacked any particular desire to advance in the military. It wasn't a milieu he had been infatuated with pre-Blackout and his involvement with the militia started before they adopted the use of military ranks and titles. Once they did, he didn't see the point of playing Tom and chasing promotion. He already had an 'in' with Bass and Miles, he was trusted and had authority without any of the boring odds and sods of command.
That and he did suck at not needing a new command ever two weeks.
But yep, we do need a Jeremy week to really work it out.
Wasn't it your idea that Jeremy kept mouthing off and getting demoted? I remember it was someone's idea and I remember cracky fic....
I'm not on Tumblr and I don't intend on being (I don't even have facebook or twitter) but if someone could collect everything and post it here, I'd be much obliged.
The tumblr tags can be followed without joining (I think!) and the plan is for everyone to use the nbc revolution appreciation tag. I can do a weekly round-up of stuff as well.
