Rachel has a complete and total nervous breakdown...and is just coming out of what was a very serious, occasionally catatonic state, and is fragile as she has to face this new threat.

Yet there's still time to play house with Miles?

Or is Miles like: I don't know how to deal with your crazy (did you see what I did to Bass?). I got my own problems. And I'll only make things worse. I'll just keep my distance (that being within yelling distance of course) and suffer in manpain. Also, Charlie's abandoned me ;_; whhhhhhhy.

I'm looking forward to Rachel's breakdown as long as it's as sharp and bitter and twisted as everything else Rachel.

It needs to make other breakdown's look like hissy fits.

Not a fan of Rachel being "fragile", because while I think PTSD and actually showing a reaction to what you've caused can be great character building/developing material... I don't trust these writers to not make her needy and "fragile" and someone Miles needs to take care of/save. I love Rachel the way she is, I don't want them to make her more delicate.

Charlie shacking up with a bounty hunter- cool.

Now a fan of Ben Edlund coming on board, TBH, I don't think I have that many fond memories of his Supernatural episodes. And I don't mind weird and grungy, but as long as it all makes sense and our characters stay three dimensional and in character- that's all I want (is that too much to ask?)

Meh, I don't think that guy's very cute. It's not inspiring me to write any porn, which is my measure of hotness.

And as I've mentioned, I didn't watch Supernatural, but I don't like this quote from Edlund at all - sounds arrogant and...boring? I do not care about nanites (especially since Edlund's suggested it's going to give us more Aaron than anything else). I care about characters (sans Aaron). Someone tell me that you plan on exploring backstory, and I will start to get excited ( ... )

Oh I don't give a damn about the guy- I'm excited about bounty hunter!Charlie, now there are some fic possibilities. Although being a bounty hunter hasn't worked well for the Clayton sisters...

Someone tell me that you plan on exploring backstory, and I will start to get excited.I don't even remember his episodes, just remember a general "not impressed" impression. And Supernatural went too overboard with meta, humor and pandering to fans, I'm so glad I quit after S5 (now if I could only quit TVD, my life would be a whole lot happier). I don't care about the nanites, because the big explanation for the blackout, ( ... )

This is true, if TVs taught me anything it's do not trust the writers. But IDK, it's EM - she doesn't play flat, stupid, helpless characters, there's always an edge there somewhere. And so I have hope the writers wanna keep that in Rachel.

IKR. And not even shacking up, like, using and then throwing away when she gets what she wants (at least that's my interpretation) - Go Charlie.

TBH, I don't think I have that many fond memories of his Supernatural episodes.

I'm kinda excited to have a new writer on board, we needed fresh blood. And apparently Edlund wrote '7.21 Reading Is Fundamental' which was pretty good, crazy Cas, Meg being on Team Freewill etc...
