I absolutely love this (though I don't entirely buy Rachel beating Marco at Risk - you just know she'd try to conquer Asia, and you just can't hold on to that kind of land!). Marco's dialogue is spot-on, too, and I can absolutely picture them doing all these things to unwind. Especially to unwind.

The last line is sobering and well-phrased.

Also, thanks so much for the plug! That series seems to be getting a lot of mileage for being essentially a collection of random crap. ;)

Hmmm- I was trying to set up a situation where Rachel's impulsivenss surprisingly trumps Marco's hesitating too long to overthink the different angles of things... Let's pretend they double teamed and Tobias convinces Rachel to not do the Asia takeover ;)

I'm really glad you liked it! That last line got rewritten mulitiple timew. :P

Your Marco dialog is all intimidating, so I was afraid to get the tone wrong, etc. How could I not plug Punchlines? I went back and reread all of it today to help tweak my Marco lol.

Timed Risk, maybe? I can see double-teaming working too. Though I suppose Risk does have a huge element of luck.

Gah, you write Ani!chillout time so well! I especially like the way Tobias & Marco don't see eye to eye; I've never understood the fanon where they become BFFs overnight (or at all, really).
