I've been setting up Asterisk at home.  It's a free, open-source PBX system that uses Voice over IP technology (VoIP).  I've set it up to support SIP, and it also interfaces to the PSTN through a Linksys SPA-3102.

Actually, I'm jealous. I could set one of those up in my new place, but there will only two recipients. Unless we give a line for each of the bunnies.

If you're going to give each bunny a phone, I think you should also have an extension specifically for your bananas.

Could you make the house phone play Bananaphone whenever mattsachs calls? That would be fantastic....

Probably not the house phone, but the one in my room supports custom ring tones... :)

Although I was thinking it should go "Are you there? Are you there?"
