Oh Chris, being with Jacob when he's not who you really want isn't doing him or you any favors. You and Darren need to TALK. In person. Not via text or phone or email where misunderstandings are more likely. You need to talk. Up close and in person where the body language is crystal clear.

hmm. this could be worse. the gay rumours are giving chris hope, rather than making him feel that he personally was inadequate for darren. i like this. but it won't stay happy long, if i know fanfic. also, i keep liking jake more and more- could you make him any more likeable? really, he's so chill and relaxed and sweet. i feel sorry for him. i feel impending heartbreak coming on. also, kudos to chris for trying to be a good boyfriend!(but you see, it shouldn't be such a chore for him...)

Ah you may be right about that without giving too much away :P I did sort of want Jake to be a likable character that is ideal for Chris in every way except that he's not Darren but of course I did end up getting very fond of him and then I felt bad lol.
