something for you to think about.

'The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance ( Read more... )

Thank you for saying that. I couldn't agree with you more in the case of probably 9/10 of folks who have journals (and pseudo-blogs that are really lamely disguised journals), and I'm glad that someone finally put it so eloquently. Because you're right--no one gives a fuck about the petty shit that people think matters. Read a newspaper (a real one) and pay attention to the world--you really aren't all that important in the grand scheme of things, fuckwads.

Love and hugs,
krista.

I wasn't aiming for 'eloquent' by any means. Bold and obtrusive seem more likely targets.

Obviously I still feel journals serve a purpose for updating friends on the lives of others, for providing a creative outlet, even for social commentary.

With that said....update more you!

But what about those poor middle-class white girls who have boyfriends that didn't get them what they wanted for Sweetest Day or forgot their 3/4 month anniversary? Surely they have a right to complain?

And while some of your points I disagree with, I was able to distract myself with your bitchin' Payback icon.

Anyway, I guess this a roundabout way of saying it, but hi, how's it going?

Ah yes, I neglected to consider the plight of the poor woeful MCWGs. They certainly suffer greatly, were it not for the great release of online journaling who is to say how many repressed souls would be silenced for their whole lifes.

Don't you love sarcasm?

Anyhow I'm glad you don't agree with all my words. If you did that would truly be frightening.

What else was I going to say? Payback is a top ten movie. Not quite as good as your typicalChuck Palahniuk novel/film, but close.
