While having lunch with one of my college girls, we recalled how I'd worn a brown skirt as a sort of makeshift cape thinger one winter because I really admired a similar garment worn by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars.

Yup.

Her husband said, "Be careful. You know that skirt was a gateway poncho."
