I find this response fascinating. I'm not denying that I do not entirely sympathize with Peter basically commanding the fairies to steal his son away, and my heart rather completely goes out to Jane in that one particular detail.

However, I must stop and blink, because to me the clear villain in this piece is Wendy, and she appears to be getting a free pass from you. Do you in fact not find her behavior objectionable, or did Peter just overshadow her for you?

Thank you. I found it deeply disconcerting to write--as I said in the header notes, I don't generally write proper fanfiction, but this Peter was adamant on who he was and what he was focusing on.
