Okay. I realize that porn is, essentially, written primarily for an audience of one: the writer. If the author of the smut ain't gettin' turned on, ain't nobody gettin' turned on.

But for the love of all that is holy, do my predilections have to be so fucking laughably obvious? I swore to myself this was going to be a love story: sweet, ( Read more... )

I have yet to write porn without a hunky bad guy. This one is a little sterner, a little meaner, but he's still very dashing, you know, and would just look great in the outfit-plus-scars ensemble.

*swoons* Sounds good to me! And I'd love to read some of your self-indulgent pirate porn any day.

I've skipped a couple of chapters & started writing in the middle - my heroine has just got caught in a storm with the groom & they've taken refuge in a summer-house hidden away in the ground... I don't think I could stop them getting up to something now if I set them both on fire.

Of course, you lost me right when you mentioned mercenaries. I immediately thought of Jayne Cobb. Then I thought of Jayne Cobb with much less than the pg-13 allowable amount of clothing on. Then I thought of Jayne Cobb doing all kinds of lusty things while in one of your stories.

Then I was gone.

I'll be in... yeah, you know.

Oh, God.

*lmfao*

I'm sore tempted to re-cast my villain, except that, you know, I don't think I could bring myself to kill off someone who reminded me of Jayne.
