Aww, Seth. In the end, he's a whole lot of awesome. And it seems Rodney is starting to open up a little bit, which is good. That way he could eventually get it all out and get better. Baby steps. Poor Rodney.

Hiiiii Katri <3 I'm quite up and down. I could write whole long rant-y or sad posts some days, but then others it's all fine... So I end up writing neither :/ I hope you're good? Shame you don't have AIM, I go on there occasionally. Though you know I still exist when I like your stuff on Tumblr ^.^

*Tries to smoosh them together* It's kind of great how much they improve each other's lives right now. Even if it stayed platonic rather than going romantic, they are just good for one another at this point ^.^

I'm kinda up and down, too. In my situation, no news isn't really good news, so... That sort of sucks sometimes. But at least there are the up days, too, right? Hang in there, also on the down days. <3

Oh, you know, graduated, applying for jobs, yelling at job applications, knee deep in Tumblr and getting no writing done... the usual. :D

Ugh, Tumblr. Takes up way too much of my time. *Shakes fist*

The best advice I have about getting jobs is getting on the kind of websites where you put your CV and details up and then employers/recruitment agencies shop for employees as well as vice-versa. Because of course employers have to advertise opportunities even when they've already picked who's going to get it, but you don't know that and end up wasting your time, and things like that. I'm not sure about the US, but recruitment agencies are massive over here (ridiculous number of job ads are for people to find other people jobs...) and, well, it worked for me? I think you can go to them and pay them, but several approached me with things for free after I put my CV up and one of them worked ^.^
