I am so deeply, deeply upset right now!!!! Fuck Fox News - I can't get my 71 year old Mom (who I dearly love) to get the vaccine because of their lies and misinformation!!! Fuck them all!!!!!

Ya know - if she wants to take herself out like the rest of the brainwashed baby boomers - be my fucking guest.... I am so incredibly upset!!

I just saw your post on FB that "this is a time for LJ" and popped right over, given that I'm on yet another 30 day ban.

My mother passed from Covid complications back in January.

My little sister is now wanting to do her research into all of her options BEFORE getting a vaccine.

My exact question to her last night "How many medical degrees do you have?"

Gone are the days where there were just ABC, CBS, and NBC NEWS.

Long gone are the days when Walter Cronkite was the most trusted man in America.

Now some deep fake internet troll can dole out conspiracies, start a movement, and lead it all to insurrection, but "they're all good people, wonderful people." Because the lie is more important than reality and the facts. Thus preying on individual doubts and insecurities of past bad deeds.

I worry about this shit, seriously, sometimes.

Other times I just want a fiddle to watch it all burn from a distant hillside.
