Back from Arkansas, much fun and relaxation was had.  Our cabin was lovely and secluded.  I actually relaxed.  We had a spa day that was mmmmmm... nice.  Had a nice dinner, went to a Big Cat refuge and spent lots of time in the hot tub.  Oh and we did Des Moines Farmer's market - I love their Farmer's marker - so much better than Minneapolis or St ( Read more... )

Hmm... none I can think of. BCT tends to be a "Good ole boys club" in some respects as you'll see the same faces over and over (in other words, some preferential treatment goes to old BCT people).
so, that being said, go in there, wow them with your talent and you'll be fine! :)
Hope you get a good part!

I never figgured I'd get a leading role the first time through. But this show is a favorite so I got to try. I don't dance well enough for the last one. I suppose there are not a lot of womens corus roles though.
My real concern is I have been singing accapella and have no sheet music.
Is a resume necessary?
I am willing to bluff my way through. I'll see if I am also able.
If I flop, I can always try for music man. Lots of corus roles there.

A resume isn't needed but it's useful. A lot of the people that audition for BCT have done some professional acting (commercials, stuff at the Guthrie, that type of stuff). I think singing accapella would be a great asset so you should be fine there. :)

Jesus made Cliff giggle :)

We should find a weekend day in mid-October to go riding! That way you can get emmasdad on a horse before he can forget he agreed :). And you and I can go riding and act as witnesses so he has proof...

Apparently in Arkansas he is also very. pointedly. white. With a mullet.

I can practically see the thought balloon - "Dude, I need to meet up with Bobbie Jo and help him with that brake job. Hope he has some Buds in the garage."
