Wow, it took a year to get to see it? I guess your luck was going to getting good seats at all the other shows. What are your chances for the Makichan shows? Crossing my fingers for you on that!
What nerve of people to not clap. I hatehatehate people treating live performance like TV or a movie. No, the performers hear the audience, even from backstage. And if they don't hear, then management and all those kankaeisha hear! And some of those people make all the entertainment decisions for everyone else!
When it first started (last summer) I'd gotten into it at the END of it's run and still didn't really know how tickets worked or anything. Then they announced they were gunna do a rerun Dec - Jan and getting (more like fighting for) tickets was a NIGHTMARE and I somehow managed to get an LV ticket on Christmas day for the final show. It was well worth the wait! The LV stream is now available online too so I can rewatch it as many times as I want for a month. Then have to wait for the DVD but that's in April I think so not far off ^_^
'What are your chances for the Makichan shows?' I'm not sure what you mean by this...
Wowowow I think you misunderstand. The audience ACTUALLY there clapped - a hell of a lot like they always do -, but the people in my cinema didn't. That's what I meant.
I think the spring show you had mentioned? I was wondering if it was hard to get a ticket. But you kind of already said why it took you a year for the Xmas show, so....
I think it was because 'we're in a cinema so there can't hear us clap so why bother' is the thought process most of them had hence why they didn't clap. But still, I knew in my heart that if I didn't clap, I would hate myself for it so I did it.
