Lately I seem to have had no time to post. I will just try to remember the highlights of the week, if you could call them that. Last week I had an appointment with my GP, which I somehow managed to overlook. The fact that Les answered the phone and told the caller that there was no 'Celia Brady' at our address, and they had the wrong number was not ( Read more... )

I hope the garden grows nicely too. This morning the world looks newly washed, with the sky almost clear of clouds and the sun shining. Thank goodness the puddles are gone for the moment.

Now my question is how do you get Josie from Sheila?
LOL

I have totally missed appointments like that especially of I've been preoccupied with other things. Sometimes even the calendar where we mark all appointments that hangs conspicuously on the kitchen wall doesn't get my attention.

Spain is going the route of wind power more and more and also lots of solar power. We have both wind and sun in massive amounts.
:)

I'm glad the Panadol Osteo is helping with arthritis pain.

My first name is Sheila, my second (which I am known by) is Josephine. My parents thought Josephine Sheila sounded awkard; I find constantly being addressed by the wrong name is awkward too. The hospital is more accommodating, they have managed to work their computer system around it.

I used to mark everything on a calendar, but it would be hard to find somewhere to hang one in this house.

I'm glad the Panadol Osteo is helping too. I am sleeping much better, and I can move around more easily. During the winter I have been letting the housework slide where it is too painful to cope with it; hopefully I will now have a cleaner and tidier house. Last night I actually sat up and watched TV until 9.30 where previously I have been going to bed at 8.30 or earlier. TV is a bit more interesting at present as there is an election happening.

You've had some rain, too! Gah! Just your luck to have to go out on that day. I was happy to have the water tank filled, we had the heaviest rain mm/hr for July since recording, but it was only for a short time.

I must tell Gyro about the Panadol Osteo. The glucosomine does not take the pain quite all away. He says the chiropractor is helping, though. Gyro did more physical work today than he has done for a while.

I hope your ears are not hurting too much with the increase in volume of the hearing aids.

Thats' a shame about the wind generators. I hope they can install others in safer places.
