My old boss stopped in front of my office door this afternoon. I looked up and greeted him with a "Hi." He looked more intensely at me, and said: "You have a cold, too." I had actually just realized that this was why I had been feeling so sluggish all day, and it was obviously physically apparent to others at this point as well ( Read more... )

OJ is legitimately good because it has sugar (if you're not planning on eating otherwise), water, and most importantly, vitamin C. Take lots and lots of vitamin C. Also, I've noticed just about everyone I know in the Harrisburg to PA area with a smidge of allergies has been bothered the last couple of days... hm...

I take multivitamins and they keep me pretty healthy as far as the no severe colds thing goes. It also staves off skurvy, which is a bonus.

If I feel a cold coming on, I double up on the Vitamin C immediately, because once you have the cold it doesn't help much.

Thanks for the responses, everyone. I am still not at 100%, but I am feeling somewhat better and functioning.

This is just some killer cold virus...but I guess I have a good immune system since I've been able to work through the misery.
