1. So I finished my marathon viewing of all the aired episodes of Awake, and I really like it! I've been a big fan of Jason Isaacs forever, and I like how understated he's decided to play his role--there's so much emotional charge and conflict inherent within the very premise of the show that it could be easy to veer off into hammy or melodramatic

i am a huge fan of awake, jason issacs, the cast, the premise, and the writing on the show. this is the second procedural drama nbc has forward in the first two years that i would literally live and love forever. unfortunately, nbc isn't getting the attention of other networks. hasn't been for years, mind, but the acting on this show is top notch! i've been trying to grassroots this show but it's not working yet!

Well, you helped convince me to bump it up on my schedule of 'to watch' so your grassroots efforts worked on me!

I like it a lot but I am concerned that it's going to be canceled :/ Alas.

Yeah, a POC lead would be nice but I generally don't hold out hope for that, sadly
