I could listen to you talk about this glamorous life full of unworthy people for hours

My schedule is finally settling down into a semblence of routine, which I will be grateful for. I like having a fair amount of variance and the unexpected in my life, but I like having that wrapped around a relatively normal set of habits to keep me centered. Now that I have a better idea of where I have to go and be on a day to day basis, I can ( Read more... )

I hope this doesn't sound bitchy and/or crazy but I feel like I either wrote the quote in your headline or remember it from something very distinctly and it's driving me nuts because I can't think of where it's from ... ?!?!?

Haha, yes, you actually wrote the headline. It's a quote from one of your Sulu/Chekov story although I don't know which one (you have written so many!). I believe it's from Chekov's POV.

I tend to use quotes that I find amusing from various media (TV shows, books, stories, movies, etc) as the subject line to my lj entries, sometimes with mild alterations to pronouns or whatever. If you'd like me to change the subject line I can, of course.

I do the same thing, and aww, I'm flattered that you used one from me!! I'm just like KILLING MYSELF trying to remember which fic this was from, lol, like the context and such. /thinks

noo, don't change it, it made my night to recognize something I wrote in someone's subject line. :) I just had to make sure I wasn't imagining things, lol!

Ah hah! I tracked down the story and it is 'Here in your bedroom.'

I'm glad you weren't offended or anything! I was worried you might be insulted that I took your words and appended them to the dull goings-on of my daily life ;)

And for whatever it's worth, I am like, an insane superfan of your stories. I'll read pretty much everything you write regardless of pairing or summary or... anything. I haven't commented in a while because I'm a dork and don't want to come off like a creeper that's creepily following your every move, but I pretty much am. So. In sum: you are a genius writer and I love your writing!

God, BSG. Man, for a show so awesome, the ending was so lame. But I totally agree with you about the whole watching TV with a sense of detached amusement. God, how else would I watch the truly terrible things I do? You know of which show I speak. I'm on season two. It's awful. (I can't stop laughing.)

As I was typing this, a small child came up to ask me what I was doing. Now I think I will go shake him down for his lunch money.
