I tried really hard to leave any and all expectations at the door when I saw the movie - that Redford would be Lukin (or Karpov or Red Skull or Dell Rusk), etc. though I wasn't so successful on the Natasha/Bucky backstory thing, because that still kind of disappoints me. But the movie definitely rewards rewatching. I recommend it!

YAY CHINA BEACH. Now I want Steve to meet McMurphy...
