This is not my yuletide story. You are all fired. I blame Anne Sexton.

I Have Gone Out
Supernatural; Jess [Sam/Jess]; AU; gen; no spoilers beyond the pilot; 1,230 words
She wonders what he'd say if she told him she knows who he is.

A woman like that is not ashamed to die. / I have been her kind. )

sam/jess, fic: supernatural, jessica moore, au

ooooh, I like this Jess, and that they're both lying out of love. Great tension throughout this piece. It reminds me, in a way, of the 'Pilot' AU fic where Sam gets taken by the demon and Dean and Jess go after him (I've looked for the link but can't find it)

Lovely stuff. Your fics are the biggest reason that I try to keep on top of new episodes; that way I can get all the nuance :o)

I've read a couple stories like that, and enjoyed them, yeah.

This is a wonderful version of Jess--powerful and smart and just a little too confident. I love it!

I am completely and utterly gobsmacked. Hunter!Jess- a strikingly novel concept, yet one that fits brilliantly with the canon we already know. I worship the ground on which you walk, etc, etc, ad nauseam. And you did a wonderful job with the execution. *loves*

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it and found it believable. I've read stories where she ends up on the hunt with them but not one where she was a hunter in her own right first, and I don't know, it suddenly struck me as a really interesting idea to play around with. I'm glad it worked. *g*
