Sorry for the late replies, work is killing me this week. We have no developed back story for Valentine because we don't want to stifle anyone's creativity really. We were thinking that Mercutio's antics sort of drove his parents to send him (And Valentine by proxy) out to live with his cousin, but everything else is totally up to you.
