Last weekend I bought a great new album, the soundtrack to Garden State. I've just gotten around to listening to it, and it has far exceeded my expectations. I bought the thing because it was cheap (11 bucks at Olsson's) and I figured it would be passable. My favorite song on there is "Lebanese Blonde" by Thievery Corporation, which is probably one

The movie was outstanding! I loved it!!! I haven't seen it out on dvd yet. Both the soundtrack and dvd are on my xmas list. :-)

I've heard good things about it, and I love Zach Braff on "Scrubs" so I'm assuming that I'll enjoy him here. Also, the sound track rocks :)

I was listening to the soundtrack on Halloween when I stopped into the store just to see everyone's costumes. It didn't grab me like some albums do but sometimes the snippets on RedDot are deceptive that way. Maybe you can bring it home.

I plan to bring it home. Some of the album is unremarkable, but there are some good songs. The aforementioned song by Thievery Corporation is good. There's a very good song on their by Coldplay called "Don't Panic." Also, the song by Frou Frou that they always play on the commercials is good. There are two songs on there by the Shins and one by Zero Seven that are good. Otherwise, it's still a decent if unremarkable album.
