Music can do that. Band was a good reliwf for me last nighr even though i was totally wiped out.

*hugs* I'm so glad your group music making does the same thing for you. JR has commented on more than one occasion what a joy it is to make music with people who volunteer their time to make music because they love it. And that's no small thing. He runs the vocal music program at a community college, so he gets to deal with the vocal performance kids who think choir is beneath them. It's no wonder he enjoys Mondays with Master Chorale as much as he does.

It can usually perk my mood up. And one of my fellow flutists invited me to do some duet work with her for the nursing home she volunteers at so I'm going to do that too. It is nice to work with people who want to do it.

Oh, yay for duetting at nursing homes! That sounds like so much fun! Master Chorale does senior and school outreach, but it's always during the work week, so I'm never able to do it.

It really is. Not for nothing have stuck with this group for something wild like 12 years. Even a rough rehearsal with this group is still better than a rough day at work. :D
