It's got to be a true relief to only work with one composer for the moment. They all eventually want something different from the vocalists and it's a bit wearing when you are dealing with several challenging pieces at once. Luckily, they are all beautiful for the most part. :)
It's definitely a relief to have to be in one vocal style per rehearsal - Mozart and Orff/Verdi are not exactly complimentary. Fortunately, Bach and Mozart have a lot more in common in terms of their melismatic writing for voice, though Bach is more likely to go off the deep end harmonically, but his great gift is that he always finds his way back in such a way as to make you realize that he totally meant to do that. Mozart is a bit more predictable (if I can use that word) structurally, but what he does within that structure is so joyful and inventive that he's always fun to sing.
