Yeah, one of my favorite things about writing fic is getting to take pairings and characters for a test drive, haha

When I was started writing, I knew that (imo) Candy could never be about lust, or realizing one day how hot the other person was, that it had to be gradual, that level of comfort they have with each other slowly growing and changing into something more, which is why I leaned heavily on the device (/crutch lol) of time and repetition.

This style is really fun for me to write, working within little snapshots, which is mostly why I wrote it this way, lol, but I'm glad you liked it =)

I love your writing style and how bambambam it is. To the point, brisk, but pulls you along in such a tantalizing way. And I never thought I'd find a fandom where this kinda stuff seemed ... hrm... possible/logical despite how illogical it is when you take it at face value.

Thank you, bb! It's a fun sort of style to work with, moving from snapshot to snapshot. As for the 'possible/logical' that's one of my favorite things about writing fic, and why I like to give pairings like Conan/Andy (who I don't ship) a try, because it's fun to see if/how they could work.

I usually don't ship Candy that way either but your writing was beautiful and made everything seem natural. I went "awww" a few times because I did see it as a friendship thing but as the story progressed, I just got it. It wasn't abrupt or anything. It made sense. <3

That said, I want Conan and Andy to be together forever. *nods*
