Mahoroba/Magacian no Yuutsu review

Oct 15, 2007 23:38

So I saw this show once about a week ago.  At the time I was really tired and honestly, probably over-hyped.  I was also coming down with a cold.  The result is that I didn't enjoy it very much, which was pretty disappointing since I'm such a big tsukigumi fan and had been looking forward to this so much.

I decided to give the show another chance.  ( Read more... )

If you're a tsukigumi fan I think it's worth adding to your collection. Money depending, I will probably end up with this one myself. Eventually.

Tsukigumi is love but I am more a Yuki/Hana fan, :)!

Obviously I'm not you so I can't judge by your standards, but I'm thinking you'll like Mahoroba since it has such a traditional feel to it. And possibly Magician no Yuutsu as well.

Heh, thanks for that. :D

But it's actually the sidenote of a real magician training Asako that made me curious about this show...

With your 'not bad but not best' I wonder... which show is you absolute favorite?

Hmm...I would characterize it more as "not my favorite, but still quite decent." I feel like I've gotten to the point where I've seen enough Zuka that it's becoming difficult for most shows to make it onto that list. At the moment, my list goes like this:

1. Ernest in Love (tsukigumi)
2. Seal of Roses
3. Osaka Samurai
4. A/L

Uh...don't ask me to do revues, it's just too hard. I tend to mostly like comedies, I guess, but there's obviously some wonderful serious shows out there too.

XD No, I won't ask you to do revues...

(Forgive me, I couldn't resist.)

My one and only true real favorite all-love forever revue is Blue Moon Blue. The ranking of the rest changes with my mood.
