When I was watching The Ellen DeGeneres Show the other night,
they were featuring a young woman about my age who
died in the last 9/11 attacks in WTC.
When her parents were going through her stuff,
they found in her computer her LIFE LIST,
a list of the things she wants to achieve in
life and the things she wants to do.
Some of the items in the list already have
check marks and some of those are
unique and new things that she atleast once done in her life.
Good for her that eventhough she died early
in her life she had lived it to the fullest
and the way she wanted it to be. :)
This feature made me realized how many things
I have missed in my early years in life because of
the many restrictions I imposed myself then in order
to reach my then so-called "life goals."
But I think basically the main reason I did not
do those things is because of the constant FEAR
of failing and doing the wrong things.
But life is supposed to be to sometimes do the wrong things
and encounter failure in order for us to LEARN
what is right and for us to savor the sweet rewards
of doing the right thing.
I wish that in the remaining days of life
I would be able to live it in its fullest
and live it the way I and God like it to be. :)
