Tea Dress Crazy

Not all of these may be tea dresses, but they are breezy, summery styles. Also, not all of them may be 1920s styles. So, um, look at this cool stuff I found on the internet!

Pretties! Reminds me, I really *should* take more pictures of my extant gowns this weekend. I have a pretty Edwardian that isn't in the best condition because of the pink silk net overlayer but the underlayer of satin silk is still beautiful and the embroidery is gorgeous.

I want the Irish Crochet Tea Gown. Really. Now to go find one that isn't $$$$ and in good condition...maybe that will be my next big hunt...

I really want and Irish lace tea gown, too, but I want to make one. Unfortunately, that would mostly be original research, since I can't find anything on method, past doilies that use some of the motifs. Also, it would probably take me like 2 years to get everything made, and then another six billion to crochet it all together.

I will! I love old photos. I would like to see all of them, even the ones that are totally season-inappropriate for summer.
